They look great but gameplay matters more to me than graphics.

Yeah but they don't look that different.

It's not a large step forward like Crysis 2 & Rage are over other games.

It's more of an Uncharted 2 level "leap", very minimal.

Terrible picture quality. The Mass Effect 2 screens could easily be screens from the first game.

Just awful.

These are awful and low res screens being compared....

EDIT: I see montana shares my feelings.

The first game didn't exactly look bad either.

I wouldn't mind if the graphical leap isn't that big. Mass Effect is a stunning game.

And Montana hit it spot on-these comparison images are poor quality and really don't provide an accurate picture.

Oh, and as for the Asari comparison- even if both images were high quality, Liara would come off better, easily

these pictures don't really do the games justice. In the new trailers you can see mass effect 2 is looking better. However, all I really care about is them getting rid of the texture pop in and screen tearing. The game can look just like the first one for all I care as long as they fix those problems it will be a huge step forward.
