For a guy who is so intelligent I would assume you could understand a joke, no one would think that was a serious statement, and if they where so stupid I would prefer they didnt even read what I write. I dislike it when people think that everything you say is meant to show how intelligent you really are and dont say jokes because that would make them look unserious.

You usually take everything too seriously, giving irrelevant events some kind of importance they dont really have, and you didnt even consider the fact that the post I responded was a very stupid comment about "greatest minds thinking alike" and BS like that over some irrational hate against left wing, and more especifically to communisthater about all that conservative thing.

On the thread topic we gave a similar response, not relating religion or atheism to the fact of killing people so I think we shouldnt discuss in this thread.

It is debatable but Hitler may well have been catholic - either way his religious views never really entered the public arena - he was never anti-religious (nor pro-religious).

In any case religious acts have killed many too, the crusades and the inquisition are prime examples from Christianity. However I don't blame these things on Christianity - I blame them on the power hungry leaders who used religion as a pretext. Same thing happened with Stalin and Mao - they were both megalomaniacs who used communism as a pre-text for dictatorship.

Hitler was Catholic and Stalin was raised Orthodox Christian. He was even in religious school.

Do you have any proof for Hitler being anti-religious? I mean the historians would be really really interested if you did because he never actually showed it.

Stalin was an atheist, quite an outspoken one. I don't know what to believe about hitler. Seriously, in a hundred years kids are going to be taught that he had horns.
