Forums - Gaming - Forza 2 demo VS GT5P in the eyes of Toastboy....

GT5 still king.
they will also include, weather, nascar and WRC.
u will be able to pass cars from the PSP and the PSP have over 800 cards. ps3 should have more or the same.
forza 3 won't be bad, but GT5 certainly will be better.

polyphony digital it's perfectionist

How'd you get the GT5 prologue demo?

So now we judge an old as demo against an even older ass demo, I assume, to ignite a GT5 vs Forza 3 debate?
Smart.
But I would have been more fair to compare PGR3 against motorstorm. I hope that says something.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

That's not comparable to a free demo of Forza 2. Prologue isn't even a demo at all. It's a self contained racing product. You paid $40 for a game, not a demo. If you really consider it a demo, you should probably bring it's value down to 1/10 since $40 is never good value for a demo at all. Anything over free is probably asking for too much.

you have to take in account that GT5 is going to be a much bigger game than foza 3....

I used to hate Forza 2 because I sucked at it, I used to always go in the grass and spin around a lot. Now I revisited the demo and would have to say, it's very fun! There are things I like about it more than GT5P.

I like the fact that the line that tells you where to go adjusts to how fast you are goin unlike GT5P. I also liked the fact that the grass looks better than GT5P. The lighting was better in Forza 2 than GT5P IMO.

Now in the opposing side, things I liked about GT5P more than Forza 2 demo. I liked the fact that GT5P had music when I was driving, it brought a lot more energy into the game. I think the cars in GT5P were a lot more polished, I saw some white specs in the middle of the Forza cars. Even though I thought the car lighting was better in Forza 2, I thought it was bad that the darkend the cornors of the Forza screen. I also like the fact that there's more racing views in GT5P.

I will rate forza 2 demo now...

graphics-7/10

gameplay-8/10

music-2/10 - You know you can use any music you want, weither it is on the 360 HD or if you have an iPod connected.

value for a demo-5/10 -

GT5P

graphics-8/10

gameplay-8/10

music-8/10

value for a demo-10/10 - How is a 40 doller demo a value? The Forza 2 demo is free. Don't see the logic here

Now I know that GT5 will have night racing, damage, over 800 cars, and about 60 different tracks, improved environments.

My questions are:

-How many cars will Forza 3 have?

-How many tracks will forza 3 have?

-will it feature night racing?

-will the graphics be improved a lot from the second one?

please answer these questions

I find Forza to be a more challenging racing game than the GT series. As far a realistic racing, I feel Forza wins here. But GT is actually a little more fun to play because it is a little more forgiving.

Your value is still too high. Prologue costs $40. GT5 will cost $60. Unless GT5 is only 50% bigger than Prologue, it doesn't have a value of 10/10. Forza 2's demo has 10/10 value since you don't pay for it.

Also, I'm a bit confused about one game being bigger than the other. I've noticed that in both games, it seems some of the same cars get reused by adding in a whole block of three or four consecutive years on the model, but ultimately it's the equivalent of saying putting Undertaker in his biker costume and then in his phenom costume means there are two characters in a WWE game. In a racing world where we have online auctions featuring completely custom cars for sale and damn near unlimited tuning and upgrade options, a ridiculously large car list becomes less and less necessary.

Look at GT4. There were 49 Nissan Skylines in the game.

I meant more along the lines of

Forza 2 full game is about 15 times the demo.

And GT5 full game is about 15 times bigger than its demo...so its an even comparison
