I'm thinking the Last Guardian will be an early Fall 2010 release. October or so. Sony is really on fire as a publisher at the moment. For ps3, the release slate currently looks like this: October: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Demon's Souls (it's their IP, even though they aren't publishing it in the West) And I could totally see White Knight Chronicles hitting in February. It's currently set for Q1 2010. Of course, I could also see it getting pushed back to April or May. Either way, that's about a game a month... just for ps3. For PSP you've got Gran Turismo in October, LittleBigPlanet in November, and some other stuff. SCE is on fire. |
You raise some very good points but in the aspect of WKC I think they'll try releasing it in the Jan/Feb part of the year. They need to avoid FFXIII all together and pushing it beyond that is a bad idea. Id say WKC is coming Feb with Heavy Rain and The Last Guardian coming in Fall of 2010. But yes SCE is on fire and you forgot to mention Jak and Daxter is coming Nov. 18, 2009. SCE has been on fire this year next year and B3YOND

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
GT5 out before Christmas with a $349 PS3 would be infinitely better for Sony than a $299 PS3 but no GT5.
I want it to release this year, but Sony better advertise it like crazy.
I'm sure they will in Europe, if nothing else.
I think KZ2's European advertising campaign is the best we've seen from the yet. SCEE actually kinda know what they're doing when it comes to marketing.
