Price cut of $50-$100 dollars on current models (IMO)
$399 Slim launch (IMO).

Don't start giving me shit about the $399 Slim Price. People gave me shit about my PsP Go prediction showing it over $200 and guess what.......Sony delivered as expected. It is just a prediction don't read too much into it.

Been saying it from the start, so I am very excited to see if my prediction comes true.

if ps3 will hit 299$ for real with slim model i might hit it next year during christmas when i will be able to get it bundled with few good games for free. definitely not right now or even until next vacation - there's way too many 360 and psp games i want.

Though if Sony were really going to cut the price on the current PS3 models, why would they be drying up stock of the systems everywhere? A price cut would of course bring in additional sales, but a price cut with little to no stock on the shelves wouldn't really help. Unless of course it's just a "clearance" price cut to get rid of the remaining fat ps3's to make room for the slim release shortly after. ;-p

We'll see in three days, but as a general rule, I'm skeptical of photos like this. You'd be amazed at what people can do with Photoshop.

I can't wait for the announcements at GamesCom, I want to put these threads to rest... then we can start the "I told you PS3 Slim/Price Cut was/not coming!" threads :P. But smbu did make an interesting point, why dry up all models if they are going to cut the price? To me the logical thing to do would be price cut, continue delivering PS3 Phat models at $299.99 until the release of the PS3 Slim, hopefully at around $349.99.

FYE is suprisingly a good place for deals.

I got Joan D'Arc for like 5-10 bucks.

They also had the Wii Fire Emblem and Battalian Wars for $10 awhile back.
