totally i just meant in the big business runs the govt sense

as far as the country i love it

i live in toronto and go to calgary a lot, and i love it

i just mean the government seems more evil eveyr day, or im just older now and see thru things etc

That's because you live in Toronto which is the center of evil, if you just stay in Calgary you will probably feel better ...

I thought it was known from the start that the bailout wasn't a great investment in terms of making money, it was an investment in improving the economy.

@sguy78

i have the utmost respect for bruce campbell and i will stop, i barely read your comment, then reread and thought i should delete it, but then i forgot.

@HappySqurriel

true toronto is pretty evil, but you get used to it. when im in calgary people are bizzarrly friendly, its kind of strange for a sec.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

We put a very expensive band aid over a very large wound. We should have just let them fall.

Oh dear! I think Obama isn't going to make it to a second term at this rate. I kind of think hes a better guy than Bush it really just depends on whether there isn't a scenario where people have to choose between the lesser of two evils once again.

Bush wasn't the alternative, McCain was.

And I would have said when he got elected, that for some things he would have been better. I expected him to reduce the war effort. He expanded it, and right now has a major offensive going on in Afgan (that no news media is covering).

The other major thing Bush did that people hated, was wiretapping, and all the spying on Americans we do. I fully expected him to get rid of that, but not a chance.

Yea, for all the things Bush sucked at, Obama is the same or worse. I do hope the next guy is better. I can't imagine what it will be like if the next guy is worse then the last two.

i felt bad for mccain. he seemed like a nice enough guy, and he was kind of progressive for a conservative on some issues (gay etc).

he just picked the wrong year, and thats too bad. if he ran instead of bush jr a long time ago some things might have been better.

McCain did run in 2000, he just lost to Bush in the primaries.

Nope.  We were actually promised that while this would be costly in the short run... the government would work it so we'd get our money back... and possibly even make a profit on the deal since "If we're investing in our buisnesses we're going to make sure we get something more out of it rather then them just succeeding."
