You'd rather 'pay 60 euro for online play' than what? Paying it in USD? Getting it for free?

It doesn't matter i woyld pay $50 USD or 60 Europes for XBL.

I guess it really depends on how much you use it? Considering how few games I play online it wouldn't be worth it for me. Haven't gone on live when I've used my friends 360s so I'd have to see how the service compares. Have had some painful lag in a few games I did play on the psn so it would be interesting to see what that money gets.

Good gods, 60 Euros? Really? In the states I can get live on sale on Amazon for $38 if I look, which is like what, 30 euros? BARGAIN SHOPPING my friends.

Or try these guys, I mean some people pay $14.99 a month for gameplay to one game, with XBL you have all the games you want.

I have yet to pay more then $39.99US for XBL Gold, and the lowest I payed for Gold was $24.99US, just off sales.

Almost every week a sale at Amazon, Newegg, or (your online store here) has sales on XBL Gold..

And when you find a deal on XBL you 13months to find another deal..

we can't buy US cards they don't work here ( i read that somewhere and don;t want to lose 40$ on that test).

Cheapest we get is 32 pounds buying ot off the UK.

when i bought mine it amounted to 35 euros.... one of the reasons I did it was the deals of the week... Kinda recoup the cost there ( got about 4 euros back already... I don't plan on getting it all back though). Plus having build up my collection of games I wasnted to play some of them online and when they are exclusive to 360 you don't have a choice.

Yeah paying for online service is worth it when it comes to major mmo's like W.o.W and Aion.

I'm refering your usage of the word 'rather' which implies you'd rather pay the money than <insert alternative>, which kinda makes it look like you'd rather pay than have the service for free o_O.
