Why would anyone want a $2 HDMI cable, its going to be nowhere near the quality of a more expense one surely ....

Digital = It either goes through completely or not at all. There is no discernable difference between a $2 HDMI cable and a $100 one.

True, hardly going to be as reliable as a more expensive one though.

Perhaps, but even if the $2 cable dies 50 times, it comes out to be equal in price to the more expensive one

LOL, unless you use it as a whip, it'll be reliable enough.

Blame Monster Cable's marketing...and Best Buy's extremely pushy employees persuading non-techy people to buy them with their new HDTVs.

There's a place called Fry's - they sell electronics and wholesale cables. I have bags of them - $2 a pop. You can buy them and resell them for like $8-$10 on craigslist.

What, son, what? New York, New York!!!

I don't think the Elite has built in WiFi.

Wait, the xbox comes with built in wifi? Is it just the elite?

http://reviews.cnet.com/hdmi-cable/

The cables also do 1.3 - the latest HDMI version - with no prob. I have more expensive cables and there's absolutely no difference - unless you are going to a distance over 25ft. Anything less and you are getting ripped off.

Plus, big box retailers push cables for easy cash. They make at least 50% profit on every cable they sell. That's why they push cables down your throat.

He was mistaken. No Xbox has built-in wifi.
