It is pretty much confirmed that the elite is going to be 300 dollars by the end of the monthhttp://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=82466.
At the moment the arcade is 200 dollars. Why would someone buy the arcade at 200 when you can get the elite with hdmi cable, 120 gig, and a built in wifi?

So I think the arcade will drop to 150 dollars, the pro will be 220 dollars and the elite will be 300 dollars.

The reason they kept the pro is because i think people will not buy the elite just because its black...discuss...
Also when people hear 360, most likely they think of their friend xbox 360 "pro"
In another point of view, the arcade fights the wii and the elite fights the PS3..

The Elite doesn't have built-in wifi. And the HDMI cable can be had for as little as $2 for a 10-ft HDMI cable. I do think the Arcade will drop to $175, though.

Yeah the pro will be discontinued. I hope they advertise this a lot.

Digital = It either goes through completely or not at all. There is no discernable difference between a $2 HDMI cable and a $100 one.

It is dead. The elite is the new pro. 60 gigs just isn't enough, let alone those that have the useless 20 gig.
