funny how we are looking at both MS and SONY preparing for a price cut, in 3 years both system have gone from a ridiculous price. Meanwhile the wii , well we know that story.
What will it take for both consoles take the whole market, they will soon be cheaper than the wii.
I hope we can put to rest that the wii has sold so much because of it's price, if that was the case MS would of kill it in monthly sales...

I have read on here before people saying that the pro and elite was the majority of 360 sales.

It really depends on how much the PS3 winds up being.
It makes sense, but I would wait until november.

I can still see these as clearing out. I really think for optimal cost reductions MS should go with a larger drive. At NewEgg right now the drives under $50 consist of 1 120GB drive and 6 160GB drives. For the next year 160GB drives probably the sweet spot for cost.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
If somehow the Fable 2/Halo 3 bundle gets cross referenced with the $299.99 elite thats a hell of a steal even as a Falcon unit.
I'm guessing MS is just going to release a 300+ gig hard drive in the future if their download full titles becomes popular (which it may not right now unless they decide to make those prices more competitive).
It's just that simple.

True but normal consumers don't really pay attention to that imo. Ps3 offers built in wifi, a blu ray player, unlimited free online access, yet that hasn't really shown consumers it's worth the price.

That Bundle sold like no one buisness out here...I don't see it anymore..
A few people...Have now said that the Elite going down to 299 is not a real price drop...
You can't be serious....
