I agree 100% Seece. I'd loooooove to have another 2d sonic. Sonic & Knuckles is one of my favorite games of all time.

I hate to say it, but sega is pretty much dead to me now. (Sorry, I am REALLY bitter about yakuza 3)

i liked sonic unleashed, got all the sun and moon medals, S ranked all the day levels, and the good ending. I hated however being forced to play most werehog stages in order to more achievements

Sonic The Hedgehog 4, hell if its only on WiiWare it would still be a awesome, they should pull a Mega Man 9 and get it done

Sonic doesnt have to be 2D to be great. Sonic adventure 1 and 2 were kickass games for their time.

Sonic can't be great anymore because he lost his way... He is no longer a flagship title that is needed as a killer app for a console. He is means for Sega to get money to finance other projects.

Yes some of you have fond memories of Sonic and hate to see him in the crappy form he is in today...but Sonic and Sega don't owe you people anything. Most of you let them both down when they were doing amazing stuff and needed your support.

Next time, buy titles you like when they are great instead of crying how you wish they were great after a company doesn't have the means to make them great again.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for the Dreamcast got really good reviews. I think those were the only good 3D sonic games.

I blame Sony. I think they were the ones who pushed 3D so hard in the PS1 era suggesting anything 2D was worthless. I know they put pressure on publishers like that anyway.

Because the games are decent enough to be profitable. Sonic Unleashed I hear woud be
a good game if they got rid of the werehog levels!
