how did you put a poll in the thread?

You have to create it using a poll generating site, then post the code into your message. I'm using 99polls.com, someone else suggested using micropolls.com . Micropolls has more options but I couldn't get it to embed it in the posts.  Afte you have the code for the poll, paste it into your message and hit post.  It wont show up right the first time, so then you have to hit edit, to edit your message and the post again.  It should up now.  It's fun, I've been adding them to all my threads.

Probably not, the DS sells games like nobodies business.

not a chance the PSP big guns can compete with DS big guns...the DS has been this generations amazing success, although the PSP has done quite well to be honest, it's sales are still healthy in terms of hardware, it's software sales tend to be gash though.

Even though there are only very few votes in the poll, the votes so far are split between DS outselling the PSP's games by a little, or outselling them by a lot. That's certainly different than the perception I've gotten from most of the posts, which all seem to think that it won't even be close. I would also like to know what sales the person who voted for the PSP outselling the DS's games by a lot, is expecting for the PSP games.

I'm reviving this thread now that we have some sales information for games released at the start of October. The original post has a chart of the top games for each platform, and I'll update it weekly.

Updated the original post again, with the most recent software numbers. PSP still has a slight lead in worldwide numbers of ~14k.

Updated the original post with the most recent sales data. The DS overtook the PSP for the first time, with the release of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Mario and Sonic Winter Olympics. Still the worldwide lead is less than 100,000 and the PSP has Grand Theft Auto this week. Will that be enough for PSP to overtake the DS again next week, or at least close the gap a little?

Also, if anyone is interested in this thread please post. When I update the thread for the consoles, it gets several new posts each week, but this one has not gotten any new comments since I've posted the numbers. So if you are interested in this please post so I will continue to update the chart.

Chance is slim. Pokemon is a beast.But I expect GTP to have a good sale in holiday.
