I want to say that is entirely over the top, and that is has to be staged. Unfortunately I was on these forums after Microsoft's press conference. I saw the Sony fanatics on these forums go right up the fucking wall, and straight into a massive psychotic rage. I suppose that kind of thing will happen when a persons illusions are smashed.

I think it was more a testament to pent up anguish then just the game itself. For a lot of members it was like the straw that broke the camels back, and it finally had to find expression. Oh I would like to say that Sony deserved the wrath it received over that entire boondoggle. The members that had the tantrums were right. They put up with a lot of Sony short changing them for ages, and then they couldn't even keep their premier number one exclusive.

If only he knew they had made a mistake with the graphics downgrade.

The same thing with xbox fanatics when they start going up the wall about the spinoff metal gear solid rising being on the xbox 360 and then bring up the illusion that microsoft have stolen another exclusive from sony. The animosity was just incredible.

And who are you to say that sony can't keep their number one game exclusive to their platform whilst microsoft can't even secure a majority of their exclusive library. With former exclusives being ported to other platforms with more content. Hypocrit.

You are relatively new here so let me fill you in on a few things. You have absolutely no clue what going up the wall actually means. Had you been on these forums that week you would know. One day we had mild mannered posters that posted a couple times every day. The next day they were salad shooting out three dozen posts that were wall to wall profanity. It was like watching a turtle chase down a cheetah, and maul it to death. Absolutely nothing can compare. I doubt we will ever see anything comparable again this generation.

Don't get me wrong if Microsoft and Nintendo could lose their premiere franchises then I would think they would deserve the mugging that Sony got. There are some things you can lose, and some things you cannot absolutely under any circumstances lose. Neither of the other two lost one of their holy trinity. That might be another thing you missed. Each console had a holy trinity.

They are the three games that typify or justify purchasing the machine. For months without end every Sony fanatic on these forums would rattle off the consoles trinity. Final Fantasy, GT5, and Metal Gear. Somehow it was in just about every thread. So every defense involved those three games. You couldn't imagine how many times a week you would read that these three games were all the justification needed for buying the console.

Oh and when did I become accountable for the behavior of others. When was I drafted, or did I join a team. To be blunt anyone else can do whatever the fuck they want. I am not their keeper. Your being a console warrior doesn't mean I am one. I am just a person with a opinion. Get out of the trench and discover your in suburbia not no mans land. By the way its spelled Hypocrite not Hypocrit. I say if your going to call a person a name. Be able to spell it properly.
