Yes, if you have Odin when you start the events that take you to disk four, he'll be killed when he tries to attack Seifer at the start of the boss battle.

I think you've mixed up Tonberry and Cacutar. The Tonberries are the little green guys that carry the knife and the lamp and you can find them in the lair where you can acquire Odin. The Tonberry GF is King Tonberry. The Cacutars are the cactus guys and the Giant Cacutar is a GF that can be found on a small desert island in the south.

No, I meant the King Tonberry... was he in some tower? Is that where you get Odin again?

I remember the Cactaurs having shit loads of AP (20 or something)?

10,000 needles= Death XD

Yea, you can find King Tonberry in the same tower that you get Odin from. You have to kill a bunch of regular Tonberries first before he appears though.

Oh, yeah I remember that from the walkthrough... and you couldn't leave the tower right? Pain in the ass XD

I didn't beat FFX, but I remember seeing on G4's Cheat (when they had the original host I think) about getting an Ultimate Weapon by doing the lightning thing for like 100+ times or something.

God damn Japanese game developers >.<

I remember hearing FFXI players suing or something because of an ridiculous 24 hour + boss or something.

My mom is the hardest boss.

Did you just do a mom joke on yourself? You Masochist XD

lol boredom kills man

can't wait for Track Season 2009/2010, guna beast out!

Travis Touchdown ERECTION CONFIRMED!

Ultimecia wasn't hard at all, this coming from someone that almost never grinds in JRPGs. I'm not saying it was easy, but I don't remember having any trouble at all. Ultima Weapon in FF8, now that was a boss to remember, one of the most epic fights I've ever had.

But on topic, the hardest I remember is Wiegraf in FFT. I thought I was so screwed since I had saved, luckily I managed with some luck and some job changes to beat him

Also I killed Omega in FF8 in like 3 combos from Zell.

@ zexen_lowe: Well, you didn't grind so that helped!

Seriously, don't grind in the game, play some card games and make the best magics out there with GF card abilities and you're good to go. I loved this mechanic for some reason.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Heh I remember that. It was like a guild (or whatever the in-game equivalent is) took on a boss battle and it lasted for like 18 hours or more.

I heard that they tweaked it so something like that wouldn't take as long.

*bows to hardcore gamer gods*

I really suck at gaming... although I agree that Ultemecia was easy as hell. Don't think I beat Ultima. I kinda liked Squall's 2nd to last weapon... I dunno, the huge grim sword looked a lot more bad ass than the skimpy light sabery one.

You just called me zexen_lowe??? What are you, a noob that never talked to me ever?

Square got it right, punish those who grinds, reward those who don't. Excellent idea
