Forums - Microsoft - Batman Arkham Asylum Demo now available on Xbox LIVE!!

I played the demo, I liked it a lot. I already have it preordered anyway. I thought the demo was great. I don't think it would have mattered much though. I have played demos I downloaded and didn't like, like Dead Space. Everyone I know kept saying how great Dead Space was, but I thought the demo sucked. I ended up picking it up anyway, and I really like the game. I guess sometimes the particular section a company decides to release as a demo isn't always the best. But the Batman demo was great! Can't wait, 15 more days!

The joker is simply phenomenal in this game IMO. Most realistic version yet in a video game and even more so than even Heath Ledgers version which was awesome too. Its hard to say just how well the stealth is since you only have one of many gadgets to mess with so far but the fighting is very well done.

You can shut up now please.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

I finally bought a copy of Dead Space a week or so ago since it was about $20 although the demo instantly turned me off due to the game play and clunky controls. I was expecting it to have faster play like Bioshock so that was my mistake. I liked the background story (good advertising campaign build up with the digital comics and everything) and horror theme and mood, but the controls were just so rough.

It's pretty rare for me to buy a game where the demo left a poor impression to the point where I just wouldn't want to play any more, but I can suffer through less than idea controls if the ride itself (story, visuals, characters) is worth seeing through to the end.

And Dead Space is still in the shrink wrap. I'll probably end up playing Arkhan Asylum first.

Arkham Asylum is a game I see myself finishing within a week with constant play which is unusual for me. The demo really left me wanting to play more. I just had a lot of fun playing with it.

That certainly wasn't called for!! I loved Heath Ledgers version of the Joker in The Dark Knight. The personality and voice and look of Joker are just spot on in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Heath Ledger will likely be impossible to beat for a Motion Picture Joker. You of course have a right to your own opinion but next time. Watch your tongue! I have just as much right to my opinion as you do yours.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
