And this is true.

But do not make it seem as though every wii game is superior to other consoles' games. It is common knowledge this is untrue. You can look at the multiplatform games for comparison if you will. Usually the HD version is better since the main developer spends more time on it, and the technical limitations of the wii are not there. So in other words, usually the wii version is neutered in the end. I say usually because there are probably 2 exceptions out there somewhere.

I guess my point was that most Quality Wii games doesn't try to be a PC game, or a PS360 game.

Well yeah, because they are wii games

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Around the Network

I think it's interesting that there are two distinct sides in the argument of casual play.
The ones trying to reinforce the divide..
And the ones trying to blur the lines...

It's a very similar picture of the HD vs Wii fans.

So, the question is...is this blurring argument damage control, or actual unbiased opinion?

There is a ton of overlap regardless of which hand picked examples more biased people choose to throw out.

If I had to say one platform was the most unique in terms of the hardware, types of games that are published most frequently on the platform and the broadest spectrum in terms of its user base, it would be the Wii.

There are naturally top quality Wii games that have universal appeal both to core and casual markets, but the vast majority of them are published by Nintendo which goes a long way in asserting that Nintendo games sell best on Nintendo platforms (which matters little anyway as Nintendo IPs are unique to Nintendo platforms). That's one thing that hasn't changed this generation.
