I've been borrowing my friends PSP to play a few games recently, namely MGS: PO and FF7 Crisis Core, and I decided that I want my own PSP. However, I'm not entirely sure which PSP to get, the 2000 or the 3000.

I've heard that the 3000 had line problems or something? But one of my friends said it didn't.

So any advice?

hmm PSP 3000 have nicer screen, but if you look from very close it looks abit weird, pixels are different.
but colors and blacks are better.

psp 3000 screen is a noticable improvement, less glare, better look.

I've had no problems with my 3000.

newer 2000s have the same "unhackable" motherboard as 3000

^^You'll have a better chance finding a PSP-2000 that supports CS than a PSP-3000.

people who say that 3000 screen is better obviously don't know jag. try playing Killzone Liberation on psp 2000 and 3000. on psp2000 you have normal colors on 3000 it's fucking brown, everywhere.
not to mention brightness levels on 3000 are just laughable compared to 2000. the highest brightness level on 3000 is still darker than the lowest one on 2000.
screen in 3000 is bad and everyone knows it - it's the worst screen out of all psp versions. if you don't intend to use skype on psp i say get 2000 - it's cheaper, it has longer battery life and screen is way better.
