MGS is known for good scores worldwide....MH isnt

"Metal Gear Solid 4" has been released worldwide and "Monster Hunter 3" is only in Japan. We will find out what reviewers in other countries think when it is released. I do not think previous games in a series should influence a game's review. Just because a previous game was good does not mean its sequel is good too.

MHFU has an 81 on gamerankings so it seems like the series is getting better recognition now.

And all of the mainline MGS games have done 90%+ (and many side games too).
