You are quite full of it. When it came out PS2 had atleast 15% failure rate within the first year. Much more after the second and third year. Also, first 3 gen models of PS2 were affected with DRE issue. You could fix it (just like you can fix RROD) if you knew what you were doing.

So this whole ">>>>>>>>>" is completely wrong.  PS1 + PS2 failure rate should be about equal to xbox 360 failure rate.

Whats worse is that sony only gave you 90 day warranty for both PS1 and PS2. Where Microsoft gives you 3 years...

No it seems you quite full of it.  Please give me a link showing the PS2 had a 15% failure rate.

Two prople i know have both had 4 ps3s!!!

Get over it! The 360 is the best system so far and yes ive owned them all too!

Correct.  The only console I've ever had with problems was my NES which has problem with the "blow on it" solution.

My PS3 broke twice in a year, my friends 360 RROD'd 3 times in a year, and scratched up his CoD4, CoD:W@W and GTA 4. Anyways, the reason Micrsofts Xbox360 breaks so often is becaause it isnt engineered right. Instead of building it properly they rushed it to get it on the market so it could beet the timing of the PS3

Actually I haven't had any problems with microsoft hardware including my 2007 360 elite and my original xbox. I have never had a snes or nes fail on me either.

The ps2 was a NIGHTMARE. Had to replace it 3 times.

wow reading this thread made me realize how many current 360 fans have had a PlayStation console break down on them before. I've personally only had 1 console ever break on me and it was the 360. I still remember how sad I was that day. I also got owned because it was a modded console so no warranty.

you cant really confirm that. Maybe(please notice i said maybe) some of them are lying just to make 360 look better in relaibility, for example like this guy who said he knows people whou bought 4 PS3's
