Scientology makes my blood boil. Not the beliefs, as most are equally insane. I could go off into a flying anger-fest showcasing how disgusting and greedy and absolutely maniacal they are!!!

But, I won't.

For people who are unsure of the Scientology beliefs,

here:

Scientology beliefs – Drugs, Reincarnation, Peace
Scientologists believe that all drugs are poisons that inhibit spiritual freedom. L. Ron Hubbard found that drugs and chemical residues are stored in the tissues of the body, and as long as they remain in the body a person’s abilities can remain suppressed. To dislodge the toxins, a person participates in a Purification Rundown which involves sweating in a sauna, mega-vitamin and mineral dosages, extra oil, good nutrition, and adequate rest.

Scientologists also believe in reincarnation and the “truths” that can be learned through past lives. These experiences can affect the thetan positively or negatively. The main way the principles of Scientology can be applied is through “auditing” where the auditor helps a person examine certain areas of their life and get rid of any unwanted influences to heighten ability and awareness. A device called an E-Meter is also used in this process. It measures a person’s mental state and it helps the auditor locate areas of distress.

The aims of Scientology are “A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights…”

It just makes me want to shoot myself thinking this is the beliefs of fellow "humans"

You forgot the story og Xenu!

Over 10 billion years ago, there was a federation of planets, with evil lord Xenu as its leader! Xenu demanded that the aliens in his Federation be shipped to earth in DC-8s! There, they would be dropped in the volcanoes of Hawaii! Then, they were exploded with bombs! But the aliens' souls started to rise up, but Xenu anticipated this and built soul catchers in the sky! He subjected them to brainwashing of a false reality and he let them free! The aliens then invaded humans when they appeared and those alien souls which float in our body cause emotion.

Is their belief any more ridiculous than other religions?

But, like I said before, while I have no quarrels over the religion itself, I hate the specific organization, The Church of Scientology.

I can't believe no one has used the argument that what the Church of Scientology does (deny others to make their own churches for the religion) is an attack on the Freedom of Religion?

And once that barrier's down, then when there are other churches, that'll offer the same services for free/cheaper, that the Church of Scientology itself will collapse (although there's the scary possibility that the religion of Scientology might actually spread O.o)

In a short period of time in human history, religion has changed from providing answers to unexplainable events to being reduced to a business scam.

Truly the religion of the capitalist post modern era ;)

I wish athiesm, as a form of religion, could just destroy all other religions. There would be fewer suicide bombers.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Look here for plenty of information about Scientology that they have consistently tried to cover up or sue for.
