^^You're thinking of the Earnings report Q1, this is just the Annual report.
The Earnings release comes out at 15h30 JST today.

Ouch.  The electronics division lost a ton last year.  Looking at the game section, however, they were clearly trending towards profitibility year on year.  I'm sure that hasn't changed, and they're probably breaking even at the moment. 

They forecasted another loss at the start of the financial year for the game divion, if I recall correctly, and a price cut on the ps3 would explain that.

Wrong info (not out yet).

Not to mention, how could they report on the quarter (or year) ending July 31st if the quarter hasn't ended? It's only the 30th...

It's the quarter ending June, and the info will be out in 3 minutes.

it's the annual report for the year ending march 31st 2009 not July 31st, that is why i ended up posting those wrong numbers in the other thread. This is old info we already got months ago.
