Put stickers on their new game boxes? I purchased a new game from there and it had one sticker on the front top right corner, one on the side (on the artwork, wtf?), and one on the back bottom left corner. Annoying since they never peel off well and always leave a residue on what would otherwise be a shiny new case. Is this policy...to put 3 damn stickers on each box? I'd think one on the top right would suffice...

What? Do you mean used games, because they can't do this with the New Boxes, because if you haven't noticed... they are wrapped lol

They're marked as "new" but are no longer in their plastic wrapping.

why buy new from gamestop? You'd be better off buying from somewhere else unless you are trapped into their instore credit. The only reason I buy new from gamestop is when the local walmart doesn't carry it and I'm in a rush and can't go over to bestbuy.

edit: oh, and I don't say this because of the shrink wrap issue, as I don't care. just because it was unwarped doesn't mean it isn't new. I just don't like them in general due to their overpriced used games unless it is really old or they are massively overstocked.

I never buy new games from Gamestop anymore. I use Best Buy almost exclusively. Between my Silver Rewards membership and Gamers Club membership I earn like $15 free for every 3-4 games I buy there...

However, I have learned over the years to remove their stickers without too much trouble. If you gently pull up on one side you can get it to come off without leaving too much residue. Then all you have to do is get a wash rag with a little soap and water and you can remove almost all of it.

I managed to ruin a lot of boxes before finding out about the trick madkiller wrote. Still, sometimes it doesn't really fix the problem and it makes the box more sticky. :/

Probably do it so your more likely to trade it in instead of collect it. Unfortunately this evil scheme works on me.
