Agreed, but surely will not do a huge increase on the PS3 hardware side when the game releases that week. Maybe 100k and thats it and it drops back down from there.

In Japan though I dont think it would really do anything to the PS3. Sure a lot less would own the PS3 but if those did come to the Xbox im pretty sure people in Japan would still pick up the PS3 more then the 360. That might bring the weekly sales of the 360 up to 10,000-50,000 for the release of FFXIII but I would expect the PS3's to go up from 50,000-150,000.

I could be wrong but that is what im guessing. I have said this so many times but Sony needs Square Enix to survive. I own all Sony consoles and im saying this SONY NEEDS SQUARE. As long as Square makes games for the Sony consoles Sony isnt going anywhere. Althought DQ9 on the DS is kind of a big blow to the PSP and PS3. If the game was released on either of the Sony consoles they would be selling like hot cakes in Japan. But I guess that how the ball bounces.

First of all. you actually believed that article that GTA7 will be exclusive to the PS3. Then your brillant.....lol.........lol....that article was a lie if you actually read it carefully. Did Rockstar Studios announce it? NO! So why would you actually believe it.

Second, I agree if MGS4 and FFXIII comes to the 360 it will sale but not like how it would on the 360. Kinda how like DQ9 did on the DS. If it was released on the PS2 it would of sold 2 million in a week in Japan.

Last but not least, your right about Sony needs SquareEnix. If they was to drop support on the console. Then PS brand would be in some deep you know what.

I wonder does this forum ever discuss anything besides How much the PS3 sucks or what Sony will do if MGS4 or Final Fantasy XIII go to the 360?

Seriously, it's just one thread after another about the same thing and everytime the replies are the same. I would have thought that would become redundant after a while but I guess Soriku has nothing better to do with his time.

Also, Soriku, If MS are truly serious about buying games then you can bet that Kingdom Hearts 3 is definitely on their agenda as well.

It's a viable point. For me if those games come to 360 then I wont buy a PS3. But if they dont, I'll buy 1.

Literally EVERYTHING coming out of the company indicates that they intend to release their games on all platforms from now on. Hell, you made a thread about the latest example of their intentions yet you magically think they are going to fall back and release everything on Nintendo's systems....

The #1 reason MS is buying exclusives/multiplatformers is because they want to take down Sony. MS has no grudge whatsoever on Nintendo. They may be buying exclusives/multis but that doesn't mean they're bringing EVERY SINGLE game to their platform. They won't touch KH3.

LOL. You keep thinking that. MS will grab whatever they can, no matter who else is effected. You are in fantasy land, seriously.

This is this gen when they can't rely on one system alone like previous gens. Next gen will most likely be different when they CAN rely on one system again as long as our predictions are right and the Wii 2 becomes Nintendo's PS2.
