Well well well. Look at my little story.
Nobody noticed it so I thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention.

It is MAJOR that the 1st legitimate American competitor since the heyday of Atari, one of the founders of the entire videogame business, has outsold such a legendary system as the Atari 2600 or more properly the Atari VCS.

Nintendo & the NES shifted the industry's capital to Japan in 1985 where it has been ever since.
For Microsoft to achieve this in about half the time is impressive & worthy of kudos.

I believe XBox 360's American-ness is a big part of its appeal & why it stays a solidly selling system. If only they'd fix those hardware malfunctions, they would be even better.

And remember these words are coming from a Nintendo boy.
