Forums - Gaming - I just realized that the Wii supports Dolby Pro Logic II

@rol - It was accepted because the GC also had DPL2. Anti-Nintendo people used all their ammo on putting down the GC audio connection. The combo of non-HD and "wagglefest" was enough ammo for people to not have to resort to comparing audio for the Wii.

LOL I don't care of you believe me or not, I've experienced the difference in person, demonstrated by professionals in the game industry AND the Dolby staff themselves.

I think they didn't mention it, because sound quality really doesn't matter anymore.

You're right. Sound doesn't matter much at all anyhow. In fact, I switch the speakers to my dvd player and throw in some S&M porn while playing Smash Bros. Far more entertaining that way.

Right, I didn't think about that! Thanks for the help. I'll check it out once I get back to my place in a few days.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

^^ No probs, shoot me a PM if you're still having issues

^ Nord, I didnt take yours seriously. =) I don't take you seriously at all. I guess I didnt pick up on Fax's sublety, I thought he was dumb enough to believe you for real and questioning me on my core area of knowledge. =) Guess I fell for the bait again. I like to argue. That's why I spend so much time in this godforsaken place

@SHMUP - I see what's going on. Your TV setting is in MONO transmission, but your headphone jack is in Stereo. When Mono transmits on a stereo connection, it will only work in the primary channel (left). Check your tv audio options, you should have the option to switch to either Stereo, or "Headphone" (which might be how they identify their stereo transmission) You should be able to plug the speakers directly into the tv and get the full stereo sound out of them all.

There is a reason why I own a Korg DS10 for my DS.
