LOL that girl's scottish accent was the worst

and Kantor, i LOVE cockney rhyming slang! and its not that i actively don't like your posh accent, its just that most (all) of the people i've spoken to have acted like they're better than me. you seem ok though!

also, i don't really like the posh Edinburgh accent either, because its forced and just doesn't sound natural at all. like Miss Jean Brodie- type thing. I really love hearing a Scots accent on TV, i think because its quite rare amongst all the American and English stuff that goes on.. Gerard Butler, Ewan McGregor, Amy MacDonald and Shirley Manson have good Scottish accents. (I sound most like Shirley Manson, because we're from the same city) (and ugh, that man sounds like my manager. ughhhh). even the random banter is typically scottish... *yaay now i have a concrete excuse*

I like Scottish, Irish and Australian accents. I especially love the fact that Amy McDonald sings with a Scottish accent. Although it's not easy to follow at times (especially the 'And you wake up in the morning and your head feels twice the size' bit in This Is The Life). Most of the times the Scottish accent seems to disappear when Scottish singers sing. When they talk however it's a different story (Examples : Sheena Easton (remember her?), Sharleen Spiteri from Texas, Marti something from WWW, and many many more).

I also like English with a Japanese accent, mostly because Shonen Knife's cover of Top Of The World...

I don't like English with a Dutch or German accent very much. Mostly thanks to our Prime Minister (when he's visiting the US or the UK and I hear him, I just got to turn off the telly because I find it embarrassing) and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also the Texan accent has the potential to annoy me, but can't give you a reason for that one....

i'm chuffed that people dont seem to dislike the scots accent, and KE - yeah im chuffed that amy macdonald's accent is evident :D she has a lovely voice ♥

i must say irish and scottish are the most attractive accents to me. dont know why, but they have always done something for me. i dont like southern(american) accents. maybe because i know to many people from the south that just annoy in general with all their "yes mAm" and "oh so yur a yank".

Lot of Canadians enjoy being called "ma'am", it turns out.

i have family in the south(virginia, way up in the hills...lol) and every time i go visit at least one person makes a comment to me about being a yank, and people who still dont realize the war is over. its funny too cause i am from upstate ny and every time i tell someone im from ny they automatically think nyc and starting asking me if i can see the ocean from where i live and other stereotypical things....

I love French Girls talking with French Accent (but i do like French language)

In Poland there is pretty much one accent, with few minor mutations but they are very local and not visible on national level, so before i moved to the UK i did not know how different English can be.

I've got accent myself (Polish one) it used to be strong, but its very soft and my accent is a weird combination of Polish, London (west) and East Midlands. I never bothered learning a proper British accent, since it never bothered me.

- Boston/Eastern USA
- southern too (y'all = win)

used to have the southern accent but then i moved 8 years ago so now i'm starting to have the boston accent.

In any case, i LOVE a woman with a british accent. Holy hell that's hot. Seriously, she could be a 4/10 and if she starts talkin and there's a thick british accent, she's instantly an 8/10. No lie.

I thought Stephanie Jacobson was hot. And with her accent, she's even hotter
