Yes GT used to be a huge franchise when the playstation brand was actually successful and had a large userbase, PS3 is not the PS2 and doesn't have the install base the PS2 enjoyed, GT5 will be big but nowhere near as big as your making it out to be, mark my words! if GT5:P sales were any indication of what GT5 has instore i'm very sure Forza 3 has no worries at all lol, no PS3 game has sold over 5 million yet so can't see GT5 doing it anytime soon if it ever gets released that is,
So what happens when Forza 3 is shipped with every 360 premium like Forza 2 used to be? I will tell you if you want, it will get a huge sales push, even if GT5 is bundled with the PS3 the PS3 isn't selling anywhere near the 360 so won't be catching up in terms of sales, both games will sell like crazy upon release but which will have the longer legs? I think you will be very surprised, and by the time GT5 is released Forza 3 will have a few million lead anyway, don't underestimate the marketing budget that will be put behind Forza 3 to ensure it is a huge success, it will be MUCH MUCH more than the marketing budget GT5 will be getting as MS/Turn 10 have the funds to do so!
I will be getting both Forza 3 and GT5 anyway, GT5 is the only game i'm waiting for on the PS3 but looking at it relistically I do think Forza 3 will be the better rated game (based on reviews) and best selling game, we will see......
