I dont think Gran Turismo is popular in US enough anymore. Halo has hit 2 million in Europe and if thats not considered popular then GT in the US cant be.

Gran Turismo - Europe and Japan.

Lowest selling GT in NA did 2.7m same as the best HAlo did in Europe, get it.  Seeing as NA are most concrened with damage and online GT5 will be back to its expected NA numbers, official Nascar support will ensure that.

It should be noted that both of these games you're talking about are the last main entries in both franchies, making Halo a franchise gaining momentum in Europe while Gran Turismo is losing momentum in America.
