I just think that SNK had a good chance to attract a lot of new fans with this game, but they put out a pretty miserable product that even some fighting game enthusiasts are mad about because of atrocious online play and a complete lack of playtesting (Raiden's super glitches the game when done to Elisabeth - if they can miss something like that I image there are other minor but potentially gamebreaking glitches).

Okay, that will seriously hurt their name they're rebuilding yet again! :(

The game itself is really fun if you have people to play it. Some KoF die-hards may hate the gimped roster and movesets, but the overall gameplay is extremely solid. It's just that without a solid netcode, most KoF fans will probably have to play against themselves and that gets really boring rather quickly.

The Raiden glitch also seems to be caused by the patch - pre-patched version of the games have the super working fine so it looks like even when Ignition/SNK try to help, they mess up. Hopefully there's a patch to fix everything, because I could easily see this game being put to the side condsidering the wealth of fighters that have already been released this year. And Tekken 6 comes out in a few months, so they really have to act quickly.
