I did not view The Happening, but I was told by my brother that it was mediocre, at best. In my opinion, most of Shyamalan's movies have been disappointing since Signs. However, what gives me hope about TLA is that Mike and Bryan are supposed to be involved in writing the script and producing the movie; otherwise, I would be pessimistic about the movie if all creative control was ceded to Shyamalan.

I saw scattered episodes, my cousins would bring dvds over and watch them.

M. Night Shamalyan is directing the movie, and he hasn't made anything decent since the Sixth Sense. I would not keep my hope up to high

That's obviously very subjective. Signs is one of my favorite horror movie (I actually think it's better than the Sixth Sense). I also loved The Village but didn't really liked Unbreakable. My hopes are really high and I'm sure I will not be disappointed.

OT: I never ever watched that show. I think it's just too kiddy. But I sure will watch the upcoming movie anyway.

I'm going to pretend I never saw the last line.

It's too bad for you because that's a rather interesting opinion. You don't like honesty?

I would like to point out that the show is targeted for a 6-11 years old audience.

I don't care whether it's honesty or not, the fact is, it's a quite stupid reason not to watch something.

And that "6 - 11" audience? They probably don't know what's going on half the time.

So, because it doesn't fall into your age group, means its too kiddy to watch?

Exactly.

There's so much other stuff to watch out there.

I also never saw The Happening and Lady in the Water. But I heard The Happening was kind of bad. I know I would like it but if I use a more objective view point, I think the movie looks poor.

...You can't be objective about a movie you haven't seen.

I mean being objective of what I saw so far. I saw some parts of it but not the whole thing.

Soooooo back on topic?
And a bump
Everyone needs to be on at the same time so we can do the trivia.

I watched all episodes. My favorite character would be Iroh. The guy has so much background.

Yes, Iroh has a mysterious, albeit intriguing background. One of the two rumors regarding a spinoff that sounded feasible was one focused on the adventures of Iroh. It could expound upon his journey to the spirit world, his meeting with Ran and Shao, etc. I would be excited for a series focusing on Iroh's background.
