My 2 year anniversary was 10 days ago. I remember visiting the site once or twice before I signed up but that could have been anywhere from months to weeks before then.

Looking back on it, it's amazing how much has changed since then. There was constant whining from Sony fanboys about Nintendo games having the highest ratings (back when users could rate games), Diomedes' (now permabanned) cries of PS3 being undertracked, free reign of legendary trolls like Hus, the the near nonexistence of 360 fanboys, a really incomplete database, NPD employees trolling the forums...and the presence of many users that long since disappeared like road killers, ckmlb, your mother, donwii, etc.

Yeah what happened to Gballzack? We were friends too :(

I've been lurking for about a year, finally joined about 5 months back.

Finally decided after lurking in other sites that seemed to just drive me crazy.

VGCharts.org

VGChartz switched to the Z when it switched to a .com. This is because VGCharts.com was already taken (probably someone who wanted to capitalize on VGCharts.org, as the site started around the same time and died shortly after VGChartz.com started)

Anyways, I visited on/off from December 06 to when I joined in June 07.

Wow, I didn't notice leo-j used a z. o_O

It's funny to look at the old VG Charts through Archive.org. You can see some reasonable posts from RolStoppable back then, and noob stof, noob Montana, etc.!
