Can I jump in the air and punch a helicopter? Possibly throw the wreckage at another helicopter?

Ok, now you are making me believe that Prototype is definitely for people who are psychopaths at heart.

That is unnecessarily harsh.

I'm asking because that was my favorite thing to do in Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Yes, it was gleeful, almost stupid fun, but the game is about escapism and male power fantasies. If Prototype allows the same thing, then it will allow me to unwind.

I asked about helicopters specifically because they allow me to act out against objects instead of people - yes, I know, people are in helicopters, but in a videogame they aren't, they're just helicopters, and when I can act against a construct with no consequences - well, Hell, that isn't so bad.

I just got prototype for PC, and I have to say omg I think this game sucks! Just a few pluses and minuses:

+ Wall running is fun

+ The fists/scythes are fun to weild

- Repetitive much?

- Graphics are terrible, even at 1920x1200, 4xAA, high quality (ground textures and clothing are especially awful)

-Too much blood and foul language, seems kind of tacked on just to make it seem "mature"

-Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with a different face? Plays exactly the same!

Feel free to tell me how wrong I am; I'm stating this merely as opinion. Care to share your general impressions, anyone who has played it?

I just finished the game...and you're I completely disagree with you.

- Can you post some screenshots of the horrible graphics?

- The side quest suck in the beginning, but they are great once you're donw with the game, and you're trying to work on getting some achievements.

- Foul language and gore....ROFLOL...wtf...are you a representative of the defunct christian coalition?

- The storyline mission are NOT repititive, and that main quest line provides alot of action and options as to how to go about finishing the quest.

- Similiar to Hulk....HECK YEAH....I love that game!

Some of us just managed to get out of the "OMG! They have realistic looking blood in mortal kombat!" mentality.

Otherwise, the reasons you mentioned are reasons I want to pick up the game. I just don't think that a game that has to rely solely on gore and cursing will keep me entertained for that long. If there's more to it, a decent story, or other random weird things that I enjoy, then yes, I'll definitely play and enjoy the game.

The cursing isn't over the top...and it's definitely not gratuitous, now the gore...that's delicious!
