I never played a Twisted Metal game. What's it about? Why all the rage? What does it make a special game?

Looks like Burnout with guns... Might be fun as an online game but not much else it seems. Jaffe already created God of War, so I'll let him do that for now. :p

Yah seriously Twisted Metal has been around almost as long as PlayStation itself. Its one of Sony's biggest and most succesful franchises!

That being said didn't an earlier poster say the game would be shown at Comic Con? If so where is it because ComiCon ends today and I still haven't seen any new Twisted Metal!

Twisted Metal 2 world tour is one of my all time favorite games. This gen, swamped with shooters, is in need of games like this.
