It wasn't terrible. It's just that it was insanely repetitive, and I though the control was bad.
Story and graphics were pretty good though.

it was good the first hour. but then go fucking repetive.

Now run back across the city and go there... ok... now run across the city again and go sit on a bench to eavesdrop. the entire concept is terrible. I doubt I will be picking up AC2. |
The fuck does that even mean?
It's far too repetitive to warrant a second playthrough. Playing through the thing once is painful.

Yeah. It's terrible. I get bored after the first assassination. Most repetitive game ever.
Well to change the tune slightly I had a lot of fun with it and I'm definitely getting AC2. My only criticism of the game was their should have been more differentiation between each assassination mission, because it did get a little repetitive. But there is nothing more satisfying than sneaking up behind someone and jamming a dagger into the back of their head. Disturbing, but strangely fun. But the graphics were good, environments were very good, the whole crowd interaction thing worked well to instill a bit more realism, and yeah, assassinating drunk wankers. Good times.
Having said that I also played it like De85, in installments, which is how I play all my games, even the 'OMG can't put down' ones. Blame my short attention span.

I guess you're only used to 360 games, so you don't know any better. hehe jk.
But check my posts above if you want to see why I dont like AC. |
I would say you both mean console games? :)

(Well, its hardly worth of 6, but I guess you can't give it 5 either.)
When was AC ever trying to be a platformer? I don't remember that at all.
I admit that I wish there were more moves but other than that there really was nothing wrong with the game in my mind. I enjoyed just about every second of it except for the parts I couldn't beat at first.
I don't think it's terrible, I had some fun with it, even with all the problems. I'm looking forward to the sequel though, as it's supposed to fix a lot of the problems.
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
