For me it goes-

1. Off the Wall: Pure genious, the album still seems fresh, every song on the album is amazing.

2. Bad: Had to live to unbelievable hype, and for the most part it did. The albums is a collection of hit like no other... Great album, again every song is a killer.

3. Dangerous: IMO it is MJ at his best, is about tied with HIStory as far as MJs greatest artistic achievement. Behind OTW and Bad only becuase it has a few weaker songs. But about 85-90% of the songs are amazing.

4. Thriller: MJs most poplular album, and it has 3 of MJs most reconizable songs, but to me this album feel the most dated of all of his. Nevertheless it is still one of the greatest ever made.... it is only in fourth because the competition is so rough on this particular discography : ).

5. Invincible: Wonderful in every way, not quite as strong as his pre allegation work, however, he put together a masterpiece here.Great album all around. But it is really lacking that knock out punch (in the form of a killer song) to push itself above the others.

6. HIStory: IMO about tied w/ Dangerous as MJs most artistically fabulous album. Basically it is my personal preference putting down here. I dont care for the "lashing out" songs (while it is understandible).

Ok, so yea all of his albums are amazing... it was more of a matter of putting which albums I felt were the most amazing. Note Blood on the Dance Floor and a few other were not added. I was just doing his solo studio albums.....

Bad and Dangerous had my most favorite. Thriller is overrated, although it has my most favorite song by him, "Billie Jean".

Yea, it is. That is why it is fourth on my list. Thiller, Beat It and Billie Jean are the only songs I love from the album... Although I like The Girl is Mine and Baby be Mine alot.

BAD is my favorite ablum...I particularly love every song from the album...but it also has my favorite MJ song.....The Way You Make Me Feel. That song got me my current girlfriend.

Wow, this is really tough.

I would have to say at the moment, thriller, bad, dangerous & then off the wall. But it changes ALL the time.

I still need to get HIStory & Invincible.

..... um, yea he couldn't write songs.... Um yea MJ did not write all of the Songs on the first 2 albums.... but guess which ones he did? Billie Jean, Don't Stop, Workin Day and Night.... to name a few... Temperton only wrote I believe 4 between the 2 albums.... Off The Wall, Rock With You, Thriller, and Burn this Disco Out... Jones was the producer, I dont think he was too involved with actual lyric writing.... On Bad Jackson wrote pretty much all the songs.... I think he co-wrote Man in the Mirror. Bad is better than thiller song for song....
