.. is probably the douchiest and most pretentious garbage ever.

 

I will never understand why an open art, such as writing, must be conformed to something that's as stifling and needlessly complicated as MLA format.

 

The citations especially. There is a technical manual that I have that has over 20 pages on just citations for the MLA format.

 

Sorry, rant over. English Composition sucks. :(

I hated using MLA style. Only used it for one course - some research English class. I'm more used to APA style myself, having taken 4-5 Psychology courses.
