Certain Sony Fanboys are getting really bloody annoying on this site. You guys constantly enter M$ forum threads and spout BS. Don't give the oh 'HOT TOPIS' BS either. It's green in the hot topics for a reason. *sigh*

Amongst Hack'n'slash fans Ninja Gaiden Series is considered the pinnacle. Not for it's story ( GOW is much better story wise ) but the gameplay is so much better. The combat is a real art, as is the mastery of each weapon kind. Not to mention the insane speed of the game. GOW is a good series, but it's alot easier and no way as intricate as NG in the combat ( which is the actual point of a Hacker game. )

And what BS/lie have they said? All they said is that they're not surprised by your reply to this thread. Are you saying they're lying about their personal opinion on your post (and that you somehow know what they truly feel?).

They never said Ninja Gaiden sucked. And GoW on God(?)/Titan mode is hard as hell man... I stopped trying Titan mode on the guy who killed the Minotaur in Greek myth... Theseus?

Hot Topics on the Home page is colour coded. This thread is there in Green. Sony is Red etc etc.

Dont know why I use M$, I dont love them or anything and don't owe them anything. Any company for that matter. Ive never been faithful to any company, I just go where the variety and current releases are. Last gen I had and played 80% of my games on PS2 for example.

Titan mode is about as hard as Acolyte on NG2. And thats the easiest mode on NG2. First playthrough on NG2 I got the achievement for seeing the Game Over screen over 100 times. And that was on Acolyte!!! The hardest mode 2 notches up is rediculous. You literally have to fully master everything about the combat to even get to Chapter 4. They are in different leagues as far as combat and difficulty.

A prime example is the end boss on NG2 on Acolyte took me 6 sittings first time through. That equates to about 5 hours. Of course now I can do it first time on Acolyte. But they really are in different leagues for difficulty.

MS may well have an unannounced answer to God of War 3. In the short year and a half that I have gotten back into consoles, and hence been watching the console war, I have noticed that MS always seems to pull something out of their hat when they need to. Maybe that's what they're going to do with God of War 3. Or maybe it's not. Either way, I'm sure MS is well aware that they need to have a strategy for when this game comes out.

MS will probably not dare to compete with God of War directly but they will probably counter a month after its release.

Ninja Gaiden is not better than god of war...and titan mode is hard too.

Microsoft will know a way to mimic god of war, one way or another.

They also need to come up with an answer to every ps3 exclusive.

Then sony will be doomed.

Well I disagree, and it seems many more do this gen as well.

I used to be all over Sony's first party. I'm not now. I have been shown altrnative games I cant get on Sony's console, played them and found I'll miss them more than I am missing Sony's exclusives.

I long more for Forza 3 than GT5

I long more for Halo Reach than ANY Sony game.

I long for Alan Wake more than any physcological horror on the market.

Splinter Cell Conviction looks to be everything MGS4 'should' have been. ( MGS series was luke warm and cold anyway ).

Mass Effect is THE best RPG Ive ever played.

Lost Odyssey is finally the JRPG that is grown up Ive been waiting for.

And on top of that, I can play the majority of 3rd party games 12 months before the PS3 version.

add more exclusives to the list as well. The list is endless.

Lets let you all into my world.

I never did class myself a fan of any console. But rather a fan of a system in general.

For example. Sony had me with PS2 last gen. I still have every copy of GT, both GOW 1 & 2, Every FF thats been on a Sony console etc etc. At one point I had 56 games for PS2.

I began to play Xbox 1 towards the end of last gen. It was affordable then. Played Halo 1 and 2 and couldn't put them down. Ninja Gaiden 1 was another. PGR another. But apart from the fact that Halo instantly became one of my top 3 games and Forza 1 blew my GT4 copy full of dust, the rest was pretty thin. I only ever bought 9 games for Xbox 1.

Sony stuck 2 fingers up to me this gen. First they asked me to pay £500 on release. Then I had to buy games. On top of that, 360 was already in it's stride and I had just been blown away by Gears Of War. Halo 3 was only 8 months away and Mass Effect was 10. Sony were'nt making it hard for me to refuse them.

Then 4 years into the gen GT5 is all but a trailer at E3 and GOW3 is rather to little to late. My eggs are in 360's corner, but the truth is M$ have done a tremendous job in making me NOT miss Sony's exclusives at all. And this is the key point. Some Sony fans held on, but many PS1/PS2 owners like me didn't. The 360 was priced well, and M$ have made every effort to provide a great variety of games.

Look at the driving/racing genre. As a fan of this genre Noone can argue that 360 owns this field. It has great AAA exclusive driving racing games. PGR3, PGR4, Forza 2, Forza 3. Also Race Pro ( Exactly like GTR on PC ).

I will get a PS3, but when it's alot less expensive. This gen is the exact opposite of last gen. I will likely own 50 + 360 games and around 10 PS3 games. It's up to Sony to change that next time.
