It would seem from what I've heard that being cut makes it harder to masturbate. I can easily glide my foreskin back and forth over the glands, where as cut dudes have to rub up and down, which causes friction, which leads them to use lube.

Circumsized penises do look better most the time, but it is not the case with all uncut men.

With some uncut people, like me, when we're fully erect, the foreskin pulls back all the way making it look almost the same as a cut penis.

I think that that is a misplaced argument though.

Regardless of the end result, shouldn't we first look to discover whether or not it is ethical? I mean, modifying one's genitals without consent, I would think, is hardly anything to take lightly.

Firstly, none of the benefits of circumcision are necessary to a child's well-being. So why should a parent be allowed to make that choice for the non-consenting child when such an operation is typically unnecessary?

Secondly, if we are to accept what I had just said above as ethical, would it not also be ethical to modify children in other ways that may be only marginally beneficial? I mean, should I have the choice to have my infant's appendix removed simply due to fear of a future infection, however unlikely it may be?

I was cut when I was an infant,

But I had to have a surgery done to redo it when I was 13 because there was too much scar tissue.

It was not fun.. I was sore for days.

And I don't think it makes a huge difference. But the original operation was done in a small town hospital and therefore it was not the best.

First of all, there were no previous rape suggestions, only vague references like "butter your bread" "slay the demon" "be your doctor". These do not imply rape, it's only what your mind makes of them. Now, as for my comment about rape here, I do not find it inapropriate. It's simply true.

Also, There's no such thing as 'grown up', only different ways of thinking. You need to 'grow up' and realize...
