Anyone else read this?  I think it's really a brilliant book that a lot of people here would enjoy.

It takes a look at how people become successful and why... and what interesting factors often come out of it.

A couple interesting issues raised are....

1) Intellegence has a threshold.   Once your "Smart enough" being smarter doesn't really matter as much as many other factors.

2) Cultural norms that go back hundreds of years ago... still effect people today... even if they live similiar to other people from different cultures.

There are many many more issues raised in the book... and it's really quite the read.

No one? Really?

Surprising.

I thought about picking it up once but decided against it.

In regards to being 'smart enough' I've always thought that the extermelely intelligent people weren't uber-rich because they either have social inadequices or they are more concerned with furthering scientific knowledge than running a business.

Einstien and Newton for example. They'd rather sit and think about the universe than try to make an extra buck.
