Bandas independentes poderão produzir músicas para Rock band

A Harmonix, desenvolvedora do game Rock Band anunciou nesta sexta-feira (17) que lançará, em conjunto com a MTV, a criação do Rock Band Network, uma ferramenta que permitirá usuários do jogo e bandas independentes a produzirem suas próprias músicas no mesmo “engine” do game.

 Com versão beta para ser lançada em agosto, o projeto visa a revelação de novas bandas, que serão avaliadas por público e crítica, podendo ter suas músicas em pacotes de expansão do jogo na Xbox Live. Por enquanto a novidade será voltada apenas ao Xbox 360, mas a Harmonix espera também disponibilizá-la para PlayStation 3 e Wii.

 Depois da troca de arquivos de mp3 pela internet, o Rock Band Network pode se tornar uma nova alternativa às bandas iniciantes e independentes para divulgar sua música numa realidade cada vez mais presente onde música e games se misturam."
