so anyways, at the advice of a walmart employee (bastard), i purchased a belkin G wireless router (the most basic). however, when i popped in the installation CD, the schematics run told me i didnt properly plug the router to the computer, and therefore couldnt run installation. heres my set up
Internet-->Modem-->Router-->Computer, exactly as the booklet said. i tried restarting a couple of times. no dice. i tried going to the manual set up at http://192.168.2.1/ but nothing there either. the lights pointing at "computer" and "signal" constantly flash green. hm, and im pissed, if that helps.
any belkin experts wanna help me out?
