The BEST console online/interactive service with now officially the best arcade line up in the world for free?
With 1 v 100 seeing huge popularity all over the world and all these amazing new features coming, it would be a crime NOT to pay for all this.
The competition is getting battered right now in the online console wars.
Bottom line_______________________________
PSN catching up? more like been left at the starting line.

I know I'm getting annoying...... but it's my new modern war..... :P what do you have people with burning everything ????? the time it takes to rip and burn a DVD you can download 3 of them on your HD and stream them to your TV.... hell you can even DL the HD version...... space the issue... I can guaranty you to find a Tb HDD for cheaper than it's equivalent in DVD or BR..... (not even counting a player here)
and once again your pseudo need for a boxed copy or hard copy... is completely in your mind.... this habbit will disappear by force anyway.... because with a disc it's packaging shipping etc representing 99% of oil derivatives.... trust me in the next century it will be more expensive to own plastic than diamonds... so just for a cost reason or an environmental one IT WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST.... hell couple years back IBM was even looking again in the pierced card system for hard memory solution.... |
He said bum, not burn. With an M.
@endimion
WTF is reglementation?

Anything that is good or great would be better if it was free. Live could and should be free. I dont think anyone is arguing for the logic that a free live service would be financially viable for Microsoft. They will make money with Live for as long as it costs to use it- of course.
@edimion; what are you arguing for?
are you saying since Microsoft is beginning to offer the possibility of downloading full games that Blu-Ray is somehow less legitimate?
You may have an argument if all sku's of the 360 were always sold with a hard drive. But I really doubt any developer would release a 7gb disc dvd9 (Microsoft standard format) and then require that another 30 gigs be downloaded and streamed through the hard drive, because that would be alienating a huge portion or the existing 360 userbase.
For Microsofts next system, the DL game system makes more sense, therefor taking away the advantage that blu-ray has over dvd9. BUT the PS3 is already set up to do this. Sony is actually ahead of Microsoft in the DL arena so far, seeing how all skus have always shipped with a hard drive. Plus they already offer alot of full PS3 games on the PSN. Sony will not tip toe into the DL home console arena at a slow pace because of a fear of loosing blu-ray support. The two can and will exist at the same time imo. They already do!
@OP; It will be nice to browse Netflix on my 360, it is slightly lame to have to use your PC as of now. I use the netflix all the time, and this feature will be great.

"They will know heghan belongs to the helghast"

"psn gets updated for free"
Yeah I realize that every time I turn on PS3 on and need to sit through a long update
