Well itll be the first game of its kind right? You never know how itll turn out til you try. Even if I may not like Heavy Rain in the future but at least they were different.

If only American game designers were as creative as David Cage and Michel Ancel.

It is more like a film where you control how the story unfolds then a game.

I do like fps/action games, but I also enjoy games with a good story/character development...so yes, this is definitely a game that I will check out...and the gameplay doesn't seem all that boring after I read the previews for it

^I will check it out, it's not on my 1st day list yet , though. I have to see first if the gameplay mechanics are not hassle and if the complete package (story, fun factor) warrant multiple playthroughs, since I just don't like buying games I play once and then forget about them, it rather be a very long game if it comes to that, but Heavy Rain I know it won't be longer than 12 hours a single playthrough.

It's not going to be a game for everyone; every game is like that.

I happen to like the idea of a game that isn't based around fast action but very story heavy. I guess what ever floats your boat.

Other than a few exceptions, no game is for everyone.  Even very popular series like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy aren't for everyone since they are very story heavy games.

There hasn't been a game yet where EVERY owner of that system has it.
