Best Buy Co. Inc.'s exclusive Blu-ray bundle for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 is outselling a new bundle that includes two action titles in its online division.

The PS3 80GB LittleBigPlanet, Wall-E Blu-ray bundle currently ranks as the best-selling PS3 hardware at Bestbuy.com.

The retailer began offering the new bundle in late June.

The PS3 80GB Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4bundle ranked as the second best-selling PS3 hardware at the online division.

It was made available in early July online and this week at brick and mortar retail stores.

Meanwhile, retailer Amazon.com this month held a discount for the 160GB PS3 SKU at $479.99, $20 off the $499.99 MSRP.

Additionally, advanced sales for Activision Inc.'sModern Warfare 2 Prestige PS3 SKU held a 264 percent sales increase to rank at No. 12 on Thurs.

Sony in June showcased new game titles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, including Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and God of War III.

Sony in May increased its forecast for PS3 sales to 13 million this year.

Strange.. Show the lack of awareness by Sony for not advertising Killzone 2 n MGS 4 the way they should be. MGS4+KZ2 bundle should be the best selling bundle and here we r seeing it after Wall-E bundle.. disappointing

It's open to a much wider audience, so I don't see why it wouldn't outsell the strictly M-rated bundle.

If I didn't already own a ps3 and the games involved and I was presented with the two options I would choose the LBP + Wall E bundle seeing as mgs4 can be bought extremly cheaply ($14.99).

Sony has to advertise every bundle they make now? Give me a break.

What is so surprising about the blu-ray bundle outselling the Killzone 2/MGS4 bundle. I would not expect the K2/MGS4 bundle to be in huge demand. Based on the sales patterns of K2/MGS4, a majority of the people that wanted those games have already purchased them, meaning its unlikely that non-PS3 owners would be tempted by such a bundle.

The Killzone bundle has been out for weeks less then the Wall-E bundle. Actually both bundles are pretty amazing Wall-E is spectacular on Bluray.

I would buy the LBP bundle.

No, i mean Sony need to make their game title more recognizeable.. so when they r on sale or there is a special bundle, casual gamers r also ready to jump on it and try it out.
