The only thing I could make out from this thread is that there are some die-hard CoD fans willing to spend an extra $85 dollars on a collectors edition that is probably not worth it. The worse part is that they are aware how bad the collectors edition is, yet don't mind being ripped off. o.o;

look,  Its all about show... who cares if they even work.  Its cool that they do, but if youre a fan of the game, you just want it for show... like dude before said, its like the Halo helmet... it just sits there for you to look at....  why would someone pay for that????   For the same reason youre grandma buys crystal figurines... know what im saying???

they are obviously not that good, but they are still NV goggles, and very cheap ones at that. I believe the collectors edition also comes with a plastic head to mount the goggles on, so it's a really cool collectors item. However, you'd be a fool to think that goggles you bought with a video game would be good for anything more than novelty.

Advice for the ignorant: Anything cool is expensive. Sports gear is expensive too. Combine those two things together and you're looking at a 200$ price tag for a low/mid level piece of equipment.
