I keep hearing that all of the Xbox 360 offerings have the smaller, less RROD prone chips except the Elite. That would seem to make no sense, being that it is their high end version of the console. I want the console, but I don't want the console to kick off either. All of my consoles have survived, including my NES for over twenty years and still going strong. I just know the freaking thing will go down in price a month after I buy it too, knowing my luck.

Yes my Red Limited edition 360 has the Jasper GPU.

OT: I believe they stopped production on the Black Elite and are reserving the "Elite" name for bundled special releases like the RE5 console.

Since they are infrequent bundles, I don't know if you'll get all that great of a price cut.

I bought an Elite about a year ago and I've no complaints so far.

I haven't seen it yet. I need to catch up with a few of his newer straight to video movies. The best part is that he knows he's a b-movie actor, and he embraces it willingly.
