Oh... i think my interest just dropped a bit. Added to that it's a spin-off. I'm not sure if Rising is on my "radar" yet. MGS: Peacewalker is what I'm waiting for anyways.

Can PSP be linked to TV so i can play on TV instead of the PSP small screen ?

Yes - PSP-2000, 3000 and Go can do that.

Yes. Though the picture quality is kind of poor of course.

Without evoking flames from 360 Fans who are going to flood this thread with thoughts that the only reason why some of us are skeptical of MGSR is not because Kojima and the MGS4 team ARE NOT working nor developing the title but because the title is not a PS3 exclusive...

Wouldn't the game just be extremley stretched though? The PSP outputs at 480x272 which is less then then a standard def tv.

Having the PSP output to a screen which is probably 20-39 inchs bigger would be horrible while retaining 480x272 resolution.
