Well you should have said weed, not drugs. Weed is a gateway drug for most people. Eventually it leads to harder stuff. Now i'm not saying everyone who does pot will become crack heads, but i am saying that there is chance that they might.

Stop being so stereotypical.  I'm very liberal and I think drugs should be banned.

We make prescription drugs 'prescription only' for a reason, its because the general public cant be trusted with them.  Same goes for meth, cocaine, etc. except there is no benefit to using these drugs so no one should.

Weed is the only drug that you could argue that with.

Yes. Weed has less negative health effects than cigarettes and the pyschological effect it produces would be no more dangerous than being drunk.

Nicotine is actually more addictive then all of those drugs...

Besides if someone fucks up their own life with drugs it ain't my buisness.

another thing, if we legalise them, we can control and tax them, which means ecenomic and healthcare benefits, for instance, we can treat people who become addicted to drugs by weaning them off, at the moment i dont think you can do that, if the drugs they take are clean, theyre less likely to kill them aswel.
