New poll shows only 30% of Republicans think Sarah Palin is qualified to lead.

This is great news for America.  There are tons of intelligent leaders on the Republican and Democrat side that would make good leaders, so its great to see this moron go away.

I dunno. Alaska seemed to love her until she got ruined during the general elections.

She would of been a fairly competent govenor for decades if she would of just turned down the VP role.

She was a compromise pick between McCain and his advisors... and it didn't work out and kinda screwed her.

It seems like she's been trying to make a name for herself after the election ended.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Yeah, those are some pretty damning numbers. She will run anyways either in 2012 or 2016 unless she tries to turn herself into a conservative Oprah (which she is probably better off doing if she wants to remain relevant).

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Yeah, takes one to know one. Actually,  I don't think she is a Moron, she is a very smart woman, unfortunately the libs and the media have been trying EVERYthing to paint her as an idiot ( they must be terrified of her), too bad it worked. I guess it just shows how stupid the general population is . Anyway. This is an early pole, I think she has some sort of trick up her sleeve...who knows, if not, then oh boy, we may get another Bush like character, cuz I know Obama will not win a second term. He's fucked up too bad already...and is setting himself up for more failure.

Yeah, well it takes one to know one.

I am liberal, but there are intelligent, deserving leaders out there that are more conservative than Sarah Palin who I would much rather see leading than her.  The media didnt have to do anything to make Palin look stupid, she does that herself.  After flunking out of a few community colleges, the weather women thing didnt pan out and ESPN wasnt impressed with her naming her child after them, so she thought she'd be president instead...

If she doesnt even know that her teenage daughter is getting hammered by her boyfriend, then how could we trust her to judge other people?

Yea, I agree that it's good the second least qualified person to hold a leadership role has no chance.

To bad the least qualified however, won.

Obama has done a lot of good.  With the recession, I dont see ourselves being better off economically with Republicans in power, but atleast we regained some respect from the world.

I do believe that the Republicans have a really good chance in 2012, especially if the economy doesnt turn around in the near future and the new Democrats lose some of their luster.  Hopefully, a good Republican leader will get the nod from your party.  Someone like John McCain, though he will be too old to run IMO.

my argument all along is that the economy can not be turned around by the government.

It would be my hope that is Republicans were in office, we would be in the same place with respect to unemployment, stock market, and GDP. Where we would be better off, is we would not have pissed away 12 trillion dollars to get us here.

Of course, that's just the hope. The Republican track record sucks too.

When she was running for president I remember lots of people saying the media was unfairly editing her interviews to make her look like an idiot.

When I saw her resignation speech, I realized that theory is completely false. She truly is an idiot who can't speak without contradicting herself and making a big jumbled mess of her statements.

The sooner the Republican party gets a talented and intelligent person to run, the better.
