It is possible they were having a clearance on night vision googles and Activision decided it would be cool as a bonus for a super limited edition order.

This is awesome. Now when I play the night maps online, I won't have to flick up on the D-pad to get my night vision goggles. I can just throw my real pair on!

Also...there's always some activity going on past my window at night. It would be nice to see those two pugs getting it on across the street near the bushes.
